We run your Amazon store like it's
one of ours.

We sell on Amazon too, so we treat your stock, ad spend and margins like our own money is riding on them (it literally is, haha).

The scouting report

The innings that built Moneyball.

1ST INNING
2005

Drafted as a rookie

Helped build an airline loyalty product from scratch (miles, points, the works). First stat he fell for: repeat customers.

2ND INNING
2011

Called up to the big leagues

Technical lead on retail tech for Best Buy in Minneapolis (where America buys its TVs). Scouting note: the tech behind the shelf decides what sells.

3RD INNING
2012

Signed with his own team

Started his own software company, Effitrac, then quit the day job (brave, slightly bonkers). Business software for small firms, marketplace selling included.

4TH INNING
2013

Joined the family farm team

Making apparel and selling textiles. Now he knew the factory floor too, down to what a T-shirt costs to make.

5TH INNING
2016

Stepped up to the Amazon plate

Sold his own apparel and baby clothing brands, including an Amazon-exclusive brand in the US. Figured a great product would sell itself (Amazon disagreed). Burned cash. Kept swinging.

6TH INNING
2022

Went full sabermetrics

Built a tool, Moneyball, that reads ads, stock, pricing and positioning together, and tested it on his own brands first (the guinea pig was him). It worked, the gut calls stayed benched, and he started wondering which other founders needed the same coach.

7TH INNING
2023

Started ProfitStory

Heard the same headache from 100+ founders: not enough hands, not enough tools, or both. So in November 2023 he built a front office that brings both (aspirin not included).

Why Moneyball

Yes, it's named after the movie.

A broke baseball team beats richer ones by trusting the numbers (and their gut). We run your Amazon store the same way, and send you the victory report.

And ProfitStory? Named for our favorite plot twist: profit.

THE TEAM

Meet the front office.
It's small, and it has opinions.

SCOUTING NOTE
Coded for Best Buy, started his own software company, then bet his own brands on Amazon. The scars are real (so is the spreadsheet).

Built AI that powers Amazon tools like Helium 10 and Pacvue. Now runs Moative, and asks the awkward questions that make our plans better.

THE CHALLENGE

We turn brands down.
On purpose.

We only take a brand when Moneyball finds room to grow its profit. And once we take yours, nobody else in your category and price range gets us (sorry, rivals).

We've even let a client go when they wouldn't follow the inventory plan
(awkward, and we'd do it again).

"We'll fire you before you even think of firing us."
